How are doctors selected for The Doctor Search?
Each doctor is personally nominated by someone in the local community and screened by one of our team members to ensure they are committed to quality personalized care. Our doctors are known for their outstanding patient outcomes and they are respected by their patients and peers. They are communicative, responsive, and spend time with their patients. We strive to recommend doctors with wonderful bedside manner and a friendly staff.
Is it free to be listed on The Doctor Search?
Once a doctor is selected for our site, their listing is free. We also offer the opportunity for doctors enhance their profiles with upgraded features. We love to help doctors market their practices effectively so that they can focus on what really matters: their patients.
Why are there no reviews on the site?
There are many websites out there where you can read reviews of physician practices. The Doctor Search is different. We believe many reviews can be misleading, especially in the medical field. Unlike a restaurant, where customers are often eager to share photos of a great meal or tasty dessert, most patient’s don’t review a medical practice unless there was a problem. Unfortunately, doctors often can’t respond to the complaints online due to privacy issues, even when the problem has been resolved privately. Good doctors are also often too busy providing great patient care or don’t feel comfortable encouraging patients to write positive reviews. At The Doctor Search, we hope you’ll trust our recommendations, and that your experiences will be enough to continue to keep you coming back to our site again and again.
I requested an appointment with a doctor through the appointment request form but was never contacted. What should I do?
Each doctor is responsible for responding to their own appointment request inquiries. Try calling the doctor's office directly if you did not hear back after your online inquiry. If you still have trouble, please email a team member at The Doctor Search and we can try to reach out on your behalf.  You can reach us at info@thedoctorsearch.com
